YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A memorial plaque has been put up on a house in Tbilisi where the great composer Aram Khachaturian lived in 1906-1922. The ceremonial event staged on the occasion was attended by Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian.
Aram Khachaturian is sometimes known as a son of Georgia. "He spent his youth in Tbilisi–the unforgettable period of life that stays in memory for good and is full of romanticism," the minister said.
The event was attended by distinguished artists of Armenia and Georgia–and both countries’ ambassadors.
