YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–President Robert Kocharian met with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Hamidreza Nikkar Esfahani–who handed Kocharian a message from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Khatami–Monday. In his letter–Khatami congratulated Kocharian upon his election President of Armenia and hoped that cooperation between the two countries would be further extended.
