YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A governmental delegation led by Acting President and Prime Minister Robert Kocharian left for Moscow Thursday–to take part in the Council of CIS prime ministers.
The delegation includes Kocharian’s Chief of Staff Shahen Karamanukian–Minister of Finance and Economy Armen Darbinian among other officials.
On Friday–the Council will discuss a number of issues regarding the work of the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is planned to discuss ways to improve mechanisms of economic integration and raise their efficiency–as well as issues connected with the establishment of a CIS committee for conflict situations.
It is expected that final decisions will be reached regarding the convention on international corporations and a CIS common agrarian market agreement.
