YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia’s President Robert Kocharian is expected to officially visit Iran in November. According to Tehran-based Tehran Times daily–the visit will have a significant impact on further development of bilateral relations between Iran and Armenia.
"Kocharian’s visit to Iran will open a new page in the relations between Yerevan and Tehran and will give a new push to already very close relations," the daily writes.
The daily also mentioned the visit of Azeri president Heydar Aliyev to Iran which has been postponed four times. "As far as Baku does not provide official explanation of the delay–Iran views it as a manifestation of its policy linked to the disputable issue of the Caspian Sea status."
