YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The American-Armenian "Levon Travel" joint venture will set up an office in Karabakh. According to Director of the Yerevan Office of Levon Travel Anahit Papazian–representatives of the Diaspora are expected to visit not only Armenia but also Nagorno Karabakh.

Established in 1992–Levon Travel is among the top three Armenian travel agencies. The company is the representative of the Dutch KLM and British Airways companies. Papazian said that the afore-mentioned companies chose Levon Travel as its activities meet the highest international standards.

The Department of Tourism at Levon Travel is currently overworked. Papazian said that while tourists visit Armenia in groups–Armenian citizens go on holiday abroad individually. She reported that Armenian citizens mostly go to Cyprus–Greece–France–Italy and Spain.

One of the company’s problems according to Papazian is lost of baggage. However–she noted that according to reports–cases of lost baggage in Armenian Airlines flights are less frequent than in foreign flights.
