YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Two sections of the Dilijan-Vanadzor road with a total length of 28 kilometers were opened for public use. These sections were repaired by the Vanadzor Argishty and Armash construction companies with funding provided by the Lincy Foundation. The repair cost 1.4 billion drams (about $2.5 million). Edward Bezoyan–the director of the program–told reporters that construction on another 15-kilometer-long section of the Dilijan-Vanadzor road will begin in September.
He also said that the Ijevan construction company recently completed the road from the Ijevan-based Bentonit plant to the village of Kiran’s.
