LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles City Council, led by Councilmember Paul Krekorian, honored President Bako Sahakian of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Friday, highlighting his commitment to independence and democracy.
“It was my distinct and proud honor to recognize President Sahakian, a true champion of freedom, justice, and liberty for all,” Councilmember Paul Krekorian said. “He is a warrior who fought and paid for in blood, the freedom and independence of his homeland and his countrymen. He is a leader who has guided his country from the brink of destruction to the plateaus of economic vitality and prosperity.”
