Renowned actress Loulou Khayian-Fermanian passed away Monday–leaving theater lovers and fans throughout the world in mourning.
Fermanian began her acting career in Beirut–in the "Vahram Papazian" theater group–getting key roles in various plays and productions.
After moving to the United States–Fermanian joined the AGBU "Ardavazt" theater group and with her unique talent devoted herself to the Armenian theater.
Last year–she played Fillipio’s "Filumena Marturano" which turned out to be her last perfromance.
The Diaspora theater loses one of its brightest stars with the passing of Loulou Khayian-Fermanian –who for more than forty-five years lit up the Armenian stage.
