BAKU (Itar-Tass)–The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe has confirmed its commitment to a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh together with Russia–France and the United States.
Michel Ketsinger–head of the planning group at the OSCE headquarters in Vienna–said during his meeting with Azeri President Gaidar Aliyev in Baku on Monday that he and his military colleagues were prepared to carry out any peacekeeping operations.
He said the latest steps taken by the OSCE and its Minsk Group–including its co-chairmen’s plans indicate that the peacemaking process is moving–even though much criticism has been generated on the most recent proposal formats.
