YEREVAN (ARF Press Service)–The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Executive Council of Armenia organized a commemorative activity Monday at Yerevan’s Moscow Theater honoring long-time national hero and key player in the 1918 Republic of Armenia Rouben Ter-Minasian.
The evening’s program began by a brief biography of the hero presented by Executive Council member Artashes Shahbazyan–who called Rouben a great strategist and a national–revolutionary leader.
Ter-Minasian’s life work was summarized by historian Ashot Nercisyan.
Political scientist Levon Shiriniyan presented Ter-Minasian’s input within the political strategy development realm–citing the hero’s study entitled "Armenia on the Intercontinental Crossroads," in which the author analyzed the geopolitical past of Armenia and configured the future of the nation.
The Agounk ensemble led by singer Samvel Yeranyan performed patriotic and national songs during the cultural portion of the program.
