YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian Central Bank’s Tender Committee which is responsible for the printing of national banknotes–announced that the Thomas De La Rues company has been selected to print new banknotes.
In the summer of 1996–the bid for printing Armenia’s banknotes was won by Harrison & Sons. However–the London Stock Exchange recently announced that the entire stock capital of Harrison & Sons was assigned to Thomas De La Rues–which became the rightful successor of Harrison & Sons.
