GLENDALE–The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Glendale "Aharonian" Gomideh and the local chapters of the Armenian Relief Society–the Hamazkayin–Homenetmen–the Armenian National Committee–the Armenian Youth Federation and the ARF Badanegan organization moved into a new community center located at 721 South Glendale Ave.–announced ARF Aharonian officials. The organizations moved into the new location earlier this month–and were excited about the prospects and potential for community growth the center offered. "We are aiming to make this a true center for activity and community life in Glendale–and hope that the entire community will consider this new center its gathering place and home," remarked an ARF Aharonian representative. In the coming months–the center will house the ARS "Sepan" chapter Saturday school–the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association’s Zvartnots Dance Troupe and the wide array of cultural and educational activities and classes organized by the Hamazkayin. The Glendale Homenetmen "Ararat" chapter will also have offices in the new facility–as will the AYF–ARF Badanegan and the ANC. The official opening of the center is scheduled for Sunday–April 27 at 5 p.m. The community is cordially invited.
