YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenian foreign affairs minister Vartan Oskanian said Tuesday that Armenian-Azeri talks over ways to end the Karabakh conflict will resume late in January next year. He said the date was proposed by the OSCE Minsk Group cochairmen from Russia, France and the US. He added that the new OSCE Chairman in Office, Spain Foreign Minister Angel Moratinos will pay a visit to the region during the first quarter of the year. He said until the meeting, the sides will present to one another their complete positions on the issues they had discussed in previous meetings. Oskanian said significant progress was made in 2006.
