BAKU (Azg)–Illegal supply of oil products from Azerbaijan to Armenia never stopped–even in the toughest periods of the military conflict–Azadlyg daily reported in Baku on Saturday. According to the report–this is considered as one of the most profitable businesses in the Azeri capital. The article says that tanks with gasoline are transferred to Armenia through the territory of Georgia–a total of 5-10 thousand tons a month.
According to a report of ANS-press–Azeri Minister of National Security Namig Abbasov confirmed the information about the supply of gasoline by shadow structures in Azerbaijan to Armenia–but mentioned no concrete figures. The minister added that all reports are being checked–and the results of investigation will soon be published–punitive measures will be accepted against those guilty.
