MEGHRI (Armenpress)–According to the Meghri regional center of the social security fund–there are 10 individuals in Meghri at the age of 90 and above.
Two of elderly individuals were ceremonially named "Heroine Mothers," one of them having 11 children–the other 6. The latter is 96-year-old Manya Badalian–who still prepares coffee for her guests.
The oldest inhabitant in Meghri is 99-year-old Hripsime Martirosian. Meghri’s Town Hall pledged to celebrate her 100th birthday. All ten elderly inhabitants of Meghri are women.
