NAGORNO-KARABAKH (ArmRadio)—On July 15, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission conducted a planned monitoring on the border of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in the direction of Hadrut near Horadiz settlement.
From the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden), as well as by Head of the OSCE High Level Planning Group Colonel, Hans Lampalzer (Austria).
From the opposite side of the border, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistant of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) and Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative of the CiO Simon Tiller (Great Britain), as well as by representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group Lieutenant-Colonel Dan Harvey (Ireland).
The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the cease-fire regime was registered.
From the Karabakh side, the monitoring mission was accompanied by representatives of the Nagorno-Karabakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense.
The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group will hold a meeting on July 18 in Ankara to discuss the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Friday, TASS reports.
“The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group will meet in Ankara to discuss issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. As a member of the Minsk Group, Turkey is ready to contribute to the negotiation process,” the Minister told a news conference in Baku.
