STEPANAKERT (Armenpress)–Armenia’s foreign minister Vartan Oskanian and his counterpart in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic–Naira Melkoumian– Saturday signed cooperation and mutual consultation agreemen’s in Shoushi.
The Nagorno-Karabakh foreign ministry press service told Armenpress that the agreemen’s envisioned that consultation and agreemen’s would be reached on issues of mutual interest–especially in the sphere of Karabakh conflict resolution.
The agreemen’s resulted since both stated saw the need to synchronize certain aspects of their foreign policies–given the mutual interests in the region.
The agreemen’s focused on security issues in the region and the further elaboration of diplomatic relations between Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
Present at the signing ceremony were the deputy speaker of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic National Assembly Emma Gabrielian–International Relations committee chairman Boris Aroushanian and deputy Karabakh foreign minister Vasily Atadjanian.
