YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian arrived in Moscow on a one-day working visit Monday. At five o’clock local time Oskanian met with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov to discuss bilateral relations–the situation after the Istanbul summit as well as the problem of Nagorno Karabakh–Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ara Papyan said.
According to Papyan–the meeting may also discuss issues relative to the possible creation of a system of regional security declared by the President of Armenia in Istanbul.
The foreign minister will return to Yerevan Tuesday afternoon–and the same evening he will leave for Iran on a two-day visit where he plans to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi to discuss bilateral relations and problems of regional concern.
