PASADENA—City Council candidate Jill Fosselman met parishioners at Saint Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church on April 3 as part of her broad and sincere outreach to Armenian American residents. Fosselman has made a strong commitment to working closely with the Armenian American community to further improve the quality of life for all the residents in the City of Pasadena. Saint Sarkis Armenian Apostolic church is situated on Sierra Madre Boulevard and serves the spiritual needs of a large and active congregation.
“We appreciate that Jill Fosselman visited Saint Sarkis church and met many wonderful people in our community,” remarked ANCA of Pasadena chairman Shahe Bezdjian. She clearly cares about our community and all the residents of the Fourth Council District,” Bezdjian added.
As a leading indicator of her strength as a candidate, Fosselman has been endorsed by Mayor Bill Bogaard. “Jill Fosselman is exceptionally well-qualified to serve on the City Council. She will be a strong voice for East Pasadena; and her experience will be an asset for the entire City,” remarked Mayor Bogaard. Further proof of the confidence she enjoys from responsible political leaders is that Fosselman has been endorsed by the vast majority of sitting councilmembers. In addition, The Pasadena Star News has strongly endorsed Jill Fosselman.
Jill Fosselman received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a Masters in Public Administration from George Washington University in our nation’s capital. She began her professional career working for the City of Pasadena in the Departments of Public Works and Transportation and Finance. She has also been an active volunteer with the local chapter of the American Red Cross and has worked to safeguard the welfare of children by supporting the efforts of local non-profit organizations. Fosselman currently serves as Mayor Bogaard’s appointee to the City of Pasadena’s General Plan Update Advisory Committee for the Land Use and Mobility Elements.
