Armenia’s President Armen Sarkissian is proposing the construction of a vast park on the grounds of the Dzidzernagapert Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex in an effort to make it more historically inclusive.
In addition to suggesting the planting of 1.5 million trees to represent the Martyrs of the Genocide, he also proposed that the park be sectioned to represent the provinces of Western Armenia, the Diaspora and present-day Armenia
I think it makes sense!
The proposal is a good idea. But two important things should be considered. More discussions among specialists in this field, specially
the historians, and the funding which I think there are more important areas to spend, such as the army and economy.
Յարգելի և սիրելի Նախագահ
Յոյակապ և սքանչելի է Ձեր առաջարկը Վստահ որ սիրելի Վարչապետը և իր կառավարունը կհետեւի իրականեցնելու նման մի քայլ.
Never forget Western Armenia.. The squatters are on those lands pretending. Liberating them is a must, whether this generation or ten generations from now.. Justice it seems, will ONLY come from ourselves.
START A CLANDESTINE NUCLEAR PROGRAM – INDOCTRINATE DIASPORA MILITARY UNITS – (ONE ARMY NATION) – UNITE AS ONE ARMENIA – ARTSAKH AND DIASPORA…
A very good idea. I would only add one small section dedicated to the victims of other nationalities. I.e. Assyrians, Cherkess, Indo Chinese, Greeks, Kurds, Yezzzidis, Rawandans, Jews, Gypsies, Poles, etc. I don’t suggest that we spend a considerable amount, but at least honorable mention. Why? But to shame others. Least genocyde becomes a national sport jealously guarded and fiercely denied denied to others.
