GLENDALE—On Sunday, the Hye Votes Campaign was notified that imposters have been contacting Armenian American voters in the name of the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region and the Hye Votes campaign, encouraging them not to vote for ANCA-WR Endorsed candidate for the 43rd Assembly District, Greg Krikorian.
“The only possible beneficiary of these phone calls would be Assembly member and candidate for the 43rd Assembly District, Mr. Mike Gatto. Given his track record full of dirty campaign tactics and his recent sham of using the Republican Brand to fool voters, we would not be surprised if his campaign were involved in a last minute scam to confuse Armenian-American voters,” stated Hye Votes Campaign Director, Elen Asatryan. “The Hye Votes campaign will be investigating the phone numbers associated with these phone calls in the coming days,” added Asatryan.
The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region affirms its full endorsement of Mr. Krikorian and requests that community members who receive such calls to note the phone number of the caller and contact the Hye Votes campaign immediately at 818.533.8683.
