A ceremony honoring Masis Araratian–whose cartoons have appeared in various publications for over a half century–will be held Friday–February 10 at 7:00 PM in the Glendale Public Library.
Masis was born in Aleppo–Syria–where he began his career as a cartoonist. After he moved to Beirut–Lebanon–his work was featured in Aztag. Starting in 1976–he has been the cartoonist for Asbarez. His work has also appeared in various Arabic and American papers.
