TEHRAN – Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani congratulated world Christian’s and especially Iran’s Christian community–which includes the Armenian community–on Christmas day–IRNA reported.
President Rafsanjani–in his message–hoped that Christian’s all over the world would collaborate with followers of other religions and "breathe a new life into the body of the Christian communities and open a new chapter for the Christian world."
It is a good sign that this year Christmas coincided with the birthday anniversary of the Hazrat Mahdi–the Twelfth Imam–Rafsanjani said in his message.
