YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenian prime minister Aram Sargsyan and US ambassador to Armenia Michael Lemmon met today to discuss Internet projects implemented in Armenia with the help of the USA.
Lemmon informed the prime minister that trial programs for connecting 12 schools to Internet were realized last year. The programs proved to be a success and the ambassador has applied to Washington with a proposal to enlarge the programs and get new funds.
The next issue discussed by both men dealt with tourism development. The ambassador said that with respect to development of regional tourism they had done considerable work which could bring profits to Armenia and create new jobs.
