YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The town of Aley that is situated 25 kilometers from the Lebanese capital of Beirut recently became a venue for a month-long conference attended by over 60 sculptors from 26 different countries.
Garegin Davtyan and Gagik Ghazaryan from Armenia as well as a number of Armenian sculptors from Lebanon–Italy and France took part in the symposium.
The symposium head committee expect Armenian artists to become permanent participants in this annual event–the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
