The Armenian Embassy–Armenian Consulate and Armenia’s Permanent Representation at the United Nations inform Armenian citizens living in the United States that the second round of presidential elections will be held on between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.–Monday–March 30. The following voting locations remain from the first round of elections.

The two candidates who earned the highest number of votes in the first round of elections–Acting President and Prime Minister Robert Kocharian–and Communist Party Karen Demirchian–have advanced to the second round of voting.
The aforementioned offices remind and request the voting public to present their identification documen’s when attending the polling places.
Voter eligibility requires that the voter be at least 18 years of age and a citizen of Armenia–regardless of residency status in the United States.
The Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles announces that all those eligible to vote–and did not register for the first round of voting–may register at the Consulate on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Special registration will be held at the Armenian Society of Los Angeles on Sunday–March 29–between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
