GLENDALE—The public is urged to take part in a rally on Sept. 27 in Glendale to protest the protocols on the establishment and development of Armenia-Turkey relations. The rally will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Pelanconi Park (on the corner of Glenoaks Blvd. and Grandview Street). Click here for directions
The rally stemmed from consultations between political parties and organizations that began after the announcement of the protocols. Over the weekend the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western US Central Committee met with leaders of the Social Democratic Hunchakian Party, the United Young Armenian.
This meeting further reinforced that the main political forces in the community are opposed to provisions of the protocols, which they believe will endanger Armenia’s national security and violate the nation’s historical rights.
The United Young Armenians brought together major forces in the community for a televised discussion Sunday that aired on AMGA TV. Taking part in the panel were representatives of the ARF, the Armenian Youth Federation, the Social Democratic Hunchakian Party, Armenian Democratic League (Ramkavar Party), the Armenian National Committee, the Armenian Assembly of America, as well as experts and representatives of youth and student organizations.
The panel discussion will be broadcast on Horizon TV tonight at 9:00pm. Tune in or watch online at: http://horizonarmeniantv.com/

Abrik !
Fransahay em yev….I SUPPORT YOU !
I hope that French Armenian organizations will organize the same kind of events.
although i support a rally, the question i have is, how the diaspora’s opinion matters to the citizens of armenia, who elected their president and the way their democracy is to be run. is it really our business to dictate how their country should be run while we sit here in the usa?
Taking a part in this Ralley is a must for Armenians. We need more of such actions to protect our rights and history before it’s too late.

We will not … WE WILL NOT.. Sell ourselves and our history for “economical reasons”. Who is going to run this economical gain? The corrupt government that we have now? Where my people are starving in the streets? The mafia that is there now?
And another issue.Turkey do you think we are that stupid? You owe us our land, HUGE LAND!!!!! before 1915 land!!! You need to raise your taxes for your citizens about 8% call it the AF tax .. Armenian Fund Tax.. And you need to have a world conference and apologize to the world and the Armenian people for killing 1.5 million Armenian’s. So tell your Jewish allies plan Z didnt work !!!
the main work should be done in armenia .
it is ther that the political parties should organize and inform the people .
at the same time we need to undrestand that small countries with no natural resourses and no major economocal or diplomatic weapons to put it on the international bargaining table , has limited options( not to say no options ) to contact succesfull diplomatic negotiations especially when negotiations are forced upon them.
what options do we have what can we do???
1.. apply gorilla warfare taktics when negotiating.
2. try to gain time and prolong the proscces making 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards-
A good possibilty and try to send the right message to the US Gov./ EU and world community!
I think, this rally should attack be focused on:
1 – Turkish denial policy of Armenian Genocide
2- Turkish current policy, which is blackmailing Armenia and trying to take Armenia and her population as hostage, in order to be able to impose preconditions on Armenia!
We should not forget , that our common enemy is,Turkish criminal policy pursued against Armenia and Armenian people!
Let us start the rallies now, what are we waiting for. I am tired of talks, can we move to action now? We have built up great momentum for our worthy cause, let us use it to our advantage.
to all my ARMENIAN brothers SPEAK UP now or for ever be silenced.
come to the rally in thousands, old , young and children. lets send the message LOUD and CLEAR NO for the PROTOCOLE.
Hye, The September 27th Rally! Bravo! This was an exemplary show to the world by the Armenian children, grandchildren, and great-grand children of our survivors in theirtoday determination for a free Armenia, free from the claws of the all the generations of the Ottoman leaderships.
Free, today, of the Ottoman Turks mentality who perpetrated the Genocide of the Armenian nation, to possess the Armenian lands, Armenian culture, took Armenian women and children to claim as Turks… Free, too from these subsequent Turkish leaders who seek, in denying the Genocide of the Armenian nation thus grant themselves denials of the truths of their own Turkish history – the years of vile terrorism of Armenians. A Turkey proud of committing rapes and murders of the Christian Armenians!
Today, distorting ‘protcols’ to continue their hate towards a nation they raped and slaughtered… these descendants of the hordes from the Asian mountains have yet to join as one with the civilized societies on our planet.
Cycles of Genocides, have been used against innocents through the 20th century and now into the 21st century – since Turkish leaders “have gotten away with murders”. All subsequent despots, too, have initiated genocides without fear of retribution… and why not, and they too, have ‘gotten away’ with murders of innocents. Thanks to the Turkish Genocide, unrepentent, brazenly denies, despite the world’s recognition by 20 civilized nations of the world, Genocide organizations, the Vatican, and Archives of the many nations whose citizens were in Armenia witnessing the Genocide of the Armenians and had recorded and reported the murders occuring. But Turks state they never
committed a Genocide….
