YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Deputy Minister of Culture–Youth Affairs and Sports Vigen Chaldranian announced at a press conference Thursday that his ministry has made plans to turn the area adjacent to Yerevan’s Moskva Movie-House into "Stars’ Square."

The deputy minister said the names of the first ten "stars" to be honored have already been decided. Among them are Amo Beknazarian–Frunze Dovlatian–Sergey Parajanov–Henrik Malian–Mher Mkrtchian–Hrachya Nersissian and others. Star inaugurations will be held weekly with the films of those honored screened at the nearby movie house.
