MOSCOW (Armenpress)–The volume of Russian gas supplied to Armenia will remain the same. This decision was made by the ITERA companies international group authorities after Armenian side carried out obligations concerning the debt pay off.
Earlier–it was announced that ITERA was intended to completely restrict the delivery of gas on February 1st–as the Armenian side did not paid its debt of $6 million for the gas supplied in 2001. By a personal request of the Armenian Prime Minister–the realization of that decision was put off by 10 days–and today it was announced by ITERA press office that the issue has been solved.
At the present–5.2 million cubic meters of gas is being supplied to Armenia by ITERA.
