LOS ANGELES–More than 13,000 Armenians crowded into the Staples Center Sunday night to watch Armenian pop star Tata Simonyan perform his popular hits alongside a team of international performers, from the Russian girl group Reflex and Georgian-born Russian singer Soso Pavliashvili to Armenia’s 2010 Eurovision representative Eva Rivas.
Ianyan Magazine reports on the story here with on-the-ground coverage, photos, videos, and a comprehensive look into the twitter frenzy generated during the event.

Most of the 13000 people’s families were not subjected to the genocide. They were not affected by it. Why should they be at the memorial?

In reference to the photo ,published by Ianyan Magazine, of Eva Rivas standing next to TaTa Simonyan, Is TaTa standing in a hole or Miss Rivas too damn tall? : )

She’s over six feet tall, so I would wager on the latter 😉
