YEREVAN (Azg)–In a meeting with Levon Ter-Petrosyan–representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s Minsk group’s co-chairing countries–Russian Ambassador Andrey Ournov–French Ambassador Michelle Legra–and United States Charge d’Affairs Lui Lickt presented the statement made in Denver by the leaders of the three countries in regards to the Karabakh conflict.
According to governmental press services–during a discussion ensuing the presentation–Ter-Petrosyan called the declaration balanced and stimulus for the resolution of the conflict.
In turn–Azeri Foreign Advisor Vafa Goulouzade called the statement "important and timely." This statment came earlier this week when the government of Azerbaijan reacted to the news of the declaration.
Goulouzade said that co-chairmen of OSCE Minsk group will soon visit Azerbaijan and Armenia–to advance the course of negotiations between the sides to the conflict.
