YEREVAN (Hayots Ashkhar)–Quoting reliable sources–Hayots Ashkhar reported that apart from the Armenia-Russia agreement–Levon Ter-Petrosyan also discussed the political crisis in Armenia with his Russian counterpart Boris Yeltsin.
Ter-Petrosyan reportedly blamed the opposition–the Prime Minister–and power Ministers. He assured Yeltsin that he’ll be able to prevent actions by the Prime Minister–and that there would hardly be any problem with the power ministers. The conversation reportedly took place before Vazgen Manoukian’s press conference. According to the same source–Ter-Petrosyan insisted that he meet with Yeltsin.
