HOLLYWOOD–The suspense is finally over! After a five year absence the The Arvest Gang is back and announced that its new production “Out of the Cage” will be in limited run on Feb7, 8, 14 and 15 at the Walter & Laurel Karabian Hall of the Arshag Dickranian School.
Arvest’s three comedy shows, including “Out of the Closet,” sponsored by Hamazkayin, were so successful that audiences were wondering when the group would reunite with a new production. The boys took their sweet time in writing and producing a new show and after a long absence they are back and ready to make fools of themselves.
“Out of the Cage” producer, Henrik Mansourian says that, as always, the sketches and skits are all original, fresh and even funnier than before.
“There is absolutely no excuse for our five-year delay except our laziness and procrastination,” says Mansourian, confirming that the new show includes live enactmen’s of their infamous YouTube clips, “Peshawar Ensemble” and “Turkish Armenian Reconciliation”. Naturally, new installmen’s of the ever popular “Japanese” and “Triangle” sketches will also be performed.
All pieces have been written by Vahe Berberian, Vachik DerSarkissian, Ara Amazonian, and Henrik Mansourian. Along with the creators, a number of talents, including Ara Baghdoyan, Sako Berberian, Maurice Kouyoumjian, Shahe Mankerian, Chris Bedian, Harout Dedeian, and Salpi Yardemian, will be portraying a slew of hilarious characters.
The group performances are anticipated to sell-out so the public is urged to secure seats by purchasing tickets in advance. To reserve tickets, go towww.ItsMySeat.com or call 818-941-4800. For more information visit www.myspace.com/out_of_the_cage
