GLENDALE—Winter Wonderland comes back to Glendale this weekend, February 1 and 2, 2014, courtesy of the Armenian Relief Society of Western USA (ARS). In its third year, the event brings snow to the grounds of the St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church, delighting adults and children, many of whom have never seen the white stuff before.
This year’s attractions will include tons of snow, amusement rides, children’s games, live entertainment, and great food. For the first time this year, children’s talent and fashion shows will also entertain spectators.
Winter Wonderland is located on the grounds of St. Mary’s Armenian Church, 500 S. Central Ave., Glendale, CA. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, and 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2. Admission is $3 for a one-day pass and $5 for a two-day pass. Ride and game tickets are sold separately.
The major sponsors of this event are Forest Lawn and Dignity Health, Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local and international programs of the ARS benefiting individuals, families, and communities most in need.
