BAKU (APA)–The upcoming June 3 meeting between the Armenian and Azeri Presidents on the sidelines of a CIS conference in St. Petersburg is a familiarizing meeting, American OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair Mathew Bryza told APA on Thursday.
But it is too early to expect any results from the meeting between the two leaders, he noted.
Bryza, who is also a the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, also noted Thursday that the three OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will meet in Moscow on June 3, after which, they plan to meet with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.
He said that the Co-Chairs and Grigory Karasin will discuss continued cooperation for completing the core principles of the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh Conflict.
Bryza also noted that the co-chairs will meet with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Alexander Stubb in Helsinki but he failed to comment further on the current state of negotiations, explaining that it was still too early to tell.
"Everything will depend on the meeting [between the presidents]," he stated.
