ANKARA–Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan has been invited to Armenia to attend a meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization set for April, of which both Turkey and Armenia are members.
Speaking to the Anatolian News Agency in Yemen Wednesday, Babacan confirmed he had been invited to attend the meeting. But added he had not yet decided whether he would attend.
Armenia assumed the chairmanship of the BSEC last November and has focusing on streamlining several issues, primarily dealing with energy cooperation between the BSEC member countries. The six month rotating chairmanship is set to end in April.
