ISTANBUL (ArmRadio)—On April 24, CNBC Turkey mistakenly aired footage from the commemorations of the Armenian Genocide centennial instead of Gallipoli celebrations during its news program.
While the anchorwoman spoke about the events marking the anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli, footage on the background was showing commemoration of the Armenian Genocide centenary at the Dzidzernagapert Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.
CNBC showed Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian welcoming foreign dignitaries. Only close to the end of the report, Erdogan was shown placing flowers at the memorial of the Battle of Gallipoli.
This shows that fact is stranger than fiction!…..you can’t make this stuff up even if you tried! What a Turkish fiasco! Turks are quaking and shaking with fear and guilt….someone in the control room of Turkey’s “KGB-style” state controlled TV channels flipped the wrong switch, and showed precisely the footage Turkey tried to suppress with all its strength. That poor soul can expect to be arrested and deported to Turkey’s “gulag archipelago,” the hell-hole which is Diyarbakir, and its secret prisons………but you Western tourists, pay no attention to that, and continue to enjoy “Turkish delight” (lokhum), and Turkey’s Mediterranean beaches, where dollars and euros go a long way.
Do not trust Turkey. It was not an accident. There is something behind it!
That’s funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnny!
You should thank then Gulenist in Turkey.
And their caption was saying like “Gallipoli, Live”. Lol
Ha ha….me think it was bot an “accident”!
Guys this is the second time they had the memorial up instead of Gallipoli. They had a national calendar with the month of April showing this picture. Coincidence? I think someone is causing some internal nuisances
I think someone with an ironic sense of justice had an influence here! And good for that person! I love it. The word is getting out, even in Turkey!
