STEPANAKERT–The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reported Saturday that two Karabakh Armed Forces soldiers were killed while attempting to repel an attack from Azerbaijani forces.
The Ministry reported that the incidents took place on the southern and eastern directions of the Karabakh-Azerbaijan boder, as Azerbaijanis attempted to violate the Line of Contact at around 3:15 a.m. local time,
Artsakh soldiers Karen Grigoryan and Vardan Mkrtchyan were killed, while the Azerbaijani side suffered losses and retreated to their positions.
“We strongly condemn the subversive actions carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the night of 2nd – 3rd of January on the Line of Contact with the Artsakh Defence Army which has resulted in casualties. We express our deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the killed soldiers,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Saturday.
“With this another provocation Baku continues to implement the continuous threats of the Azerbaijani authorities on the use of force which are being stated even in New Year messages by the leadership of that countr,” added the statement.
“This is a flagrant contempt towards the appeals of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries to refrain from provocative actions and escalation of the situation, especially on the eve of and during religious holidays. It is long overdue for the international community to sober the Azerbaijani authorities acting against its calls,” concluded the foreign ministry statement.
Mr. Nalbandian,
Were you not the god damn this so called foreign minister of our beloved Armenia who signed the god damn western dictated, god damn Hillery Clinton dictated, Turkish-Armenian protocals with these animal Turks. And now you are expressing symphathy to the relatives of our murdered Armenian soldiers? How dare do you dare that? Get the hell of Armenian politics and Armenia for good. You are not wanted.
And if our kiss ass president Serz Sarkissian can not tell the Western world to stop siding with the Turkey and Azerbaijan then he can also go to hell and out of Armenia. Enough of this west sucking our Armenian blood.
And to Levon Ter Petrossian, Oskanian, Raffi and the rest of this western oriented god damn opposition they can also all go to hell. Enough of distabilizing our beloved Armenia and Artsakh.
And to my Armenian brothers and sisters in Armenia, Artsakh and to our brave soldiers in the front lines I have a message: Get rid of these bastard leadership in Armenia and call Garegin Njdehs, Antraniks and alikes to save our God Given Homeland from enemies of Armenian Nation.
And to our heroes in the Armenian and Artsakh army drive these genocidal, blood thirsty, barbarian and western supported animal Turks back to Tatarestan and Mongolia.
And to hell to all superpowers who are siding with the Turks.
Truly heartbreaking to hear the loos of another two soldiers. The Armenian army must find a way to prevent the enemy from even getting close. Existing technology can make this a reality. More resources and technology are needed along the entire border.
It’s quit clear the degree of fear Azeris feel by the often heard Armenian threats of “painful consequences” if Azerbaijan does not stop attacking NK.
And the hell with you turkish puppit Masnchurian.
Now that Jan 2 has passed and Armenia is fully engaged with the EEU, any decision to help Artsakh must be pre-approved by the other members. The new CCCP regional world order takes precedence over all matters that will potentially affect the union.
According to The Guardian newspaper, Putin’s plan is for the Eurasian Union to grow into a “powerful, supra-national union” of sovereign states like the European Union, uniting economies, legal systems, customs services, and military capabilities to form a bridge between Europe and Asia and rival the EU, the US, China, and India by 2015. Russian president Vladimir Putin has also upheld the idea of creating a parliament for the union. In 2015, the new court will replace the Court of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC Court). It will be in charge of dispute resolution and the interpretation of the legal order within the Eurasian Economic Union. Its headquarters will be in Minsk.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev called for the introduction of a common currency for the Eurasian Economic Union. Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma’s CIS committee backed Medvedev’s proposal to start discussions on the creation of a monetary union. Slutsky said it could be introduced shortly after 2015, when the union’s structure becomes clear. Belarusian president, Alexander Lukashenko, circulated the idea of creating a “new euro” for the Eurasian economic bloc. In April 2014, discussions to introduce a single currency resumed. Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Igor Shuvalov, stated on 24 July 2014 that the Eurasian Economic Union will have a common currency unit in a span of five to ten years.
EEU is an economic bloc. They don’t care about these petty regional squabbles as long as it doesnt escalate. You’re watching too much Red Dawn.
Isn’t that what the EU already has been doing for 20 years with all of its members and policies? And you were an ardent supporter of joining that bloc, so why are you whining now? Every principle you mentioned above is already in affect for all EU member states. Centralized court, bloc group policies, common currency, acting in unison, etc. The only difference is the power center for the EU is in London, Paris, and Munich, for the EEU it will be Moscow. You are describing the EEU as an analogous entity to the EU that you so vehemently were supporting but just because it’s led by Moscow you are whining about it.
The real difference is that the EU is transparent and based on democratic institutions, unlike the shadowy dark figures lurking behind the EEU, most notably a former KGB agent at the helm.
When President Putin visited Armenia he did not go to Yerevan first…he went directly to his military headquarter in Gumri. Artsakh is part of Russian toy land, where Put in can lend the land back to Axerbaijan for another 70 years! The only reason he can not do it, because of Armenia’s military superiority over Tatar-Turks. Best for Armenia stay out of EU or EEU, none of them cares, for Armenia’s security. They look for their own selfish political interest!
Turquía y Azerbaiyán son estados Genocidas
Azerbaijan is playing with fire . I say we bomb there oil fields and be done with it !
IT’S TIME FOR ARMENIA TO TEACH AZERBAIJAN WHICH DOES NOT RESPECT HUMAN RIGHTS AND ACTS AS A BARBARIAN A VERY PUNISHING LESSON, HIT THEM VERY VERY HARD THAT IS THE ONLY LESSON THEY UNDERSTAND ARMENIA HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND IT’S SELF.
