YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–On March 25–unknown persons opened fire on the "Orion" shop leased by Parliament member–Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Energy Commission Manuk Gasparian’s family.
Commenting on March 27–Gasparian pointed out that although the damage did not exceed $600–it did aroused alarm as it immediately followed the Commission’s revealing press conferences on Saturday.
According to Gasparian–there is some data that can throw light on this case. He refrained from making conclusions as to who might have hired the assailants–as he considered it to be up to the law-enforcement agencies to confront the facts and run the investigation.
"The Commission will go on investigating the crimes committed in the country’s energy sector–and those responsible will be punished sooner or later," Gasparian concluded.
