Google Analytics reports that asbarez.com has received 1,001,276 visits during the last ten months.
Since last May, when we reconfigured our Web site and invited our readers to become participants in this process by posting comments and contributing, we have seen a surge in site visitors and are encouraged by the number of readers who regularly comment on news, opinions and feature articles.
The events of the last ten months have also spurred interest in our site, given the rapid-developing news on the Armenia-Turkey protocols and other related issues that have dominated the always-evolving fabric of our national reality.
Perhaps, we are more humbled than happy that so many people have chosen Asbarez as their destinations, and every day we work hard to expand our coverage, provide more commentary from variety of voices and increase our ability to provide the most up-to-date information to our readers.
We welcome each visit and hope for a million more.
Thank you!
Keep up the excellent work. Asbarez is the premiere news source for the Armenian communities around the world. Thank you.
I really LOVE this tool and while for a short time it was gone I didn’t like to read anything else; but there is something that constantly bothers me and that’s nothing but the infamous clause “Your comment is awaiting moderation”, it pops up at the top of the comment; that tells me public can’t see my comment yet; then sometimes it vanishes from the top and sometimes takes the comment with it.
( I’m pretty sure the latter will happen to this comment of mine; but I hope I’m wrong)
This defeats the purpose of the First Amendment, whatever I say or write; I and only I’m responsible for it and it should not be Censored, it kills the beauty of this wonderful tool of democracy.
Let me make my mistakes and learn by others correcting me, it’s too dull when in an article all comments are lookalike and everyone agrees with everyone just in different formats.
