The story is all too familiar to much if not all of the Armenian community worldwide, and as a part of Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) Armenian Genocide Congressional Record Project, an effort which seeks to parallel H. Res. 252, which would recognize and commemorate the Genocide, the story of Flora Mouradian and how she survived the death march was recently added to that Congressional Record, in hopes of educating more members of Congress on the events which took place between 1915 and 1923, and to finally bring justice and peace to 1.5 million victims of genocide.
