YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The World Bank will allocate a $10 million credit under the program of priority health protection and improvement of the mechanisms of financing the health service–Director of the Office for support of health programs Susanna Hairapetian said. She reported that within the next 4-5 years 70 outpatients’ clinics in rural areas will be repaired and provided with modern medical equipment. The personnel will be re-trained and 140 ambulance cars will be purchased. She said that $2 million will be spent on the purchase of 30 ambulance cars and the repair of 16 outpatients’ clinics–four of which will be fitted with diagnostic centers.
