On January 31–ARF Western Region Central Committee representative Hovig Saliba and Committee member Vahe Bozoian met with Yerevan’s Police Chief Nerses Nazarian at Glendale’s Peshekerian Center.
Also at the meeting were Armenian Consul General to Los Angeles Gagik Kirakosian–diplomatic staff member Hagop Hovanissian–Pasadena police department representative Vazken Goordigian and Pasadena Armenian community member Ara Sahagian.
The Police Chief talked about the status and role of the police department in Armenia–and specifically–Yerevan. He also added that Yerevan is one of the world’s safest capitals.
Chief Nazarian has already met with the police chiefs of Pasadena–Glendale and Beverly Hills. He will also meet with LA County Sheriff Lee Baca and the police cheif of Los Angeles.
