AKHALKALAK, Georgia (Armenpress)-A youth center was inaugurated Monday in Akhalkalak, a town in the Southern Georgian province of Javakhk, which has a predominantly Armenian population.
The Youth Center building was purchased by the United Armenian Fund, which remodeled and furnished it for the Armenian community.
The inauguration was attended by local officials and the Armenian member of the Georgian parliament.
The center will have a computer, and will provide English, Armenian and Armenian history classes.
