Armenia’s Elmira Karapetyan on Thursday won a gold medal at the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Competing in the women’s 10-meter air pistol event, Karapetyan came in first with a score of 236.6.
Thus far, Karapetyan is Armenia’s only athlete to have qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
