GLENDALE–The leader of the Armenian Catholic Church Father Raphael Minassian met with the Western US Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Monday–at the latter’s headquarters. Minassian was accompanied by Fathers Krikor Shahinian and Antrank Atamian.
The meeting mainly focused on the important role Armenian Catholics play in the community–as well as the Catholic Church’s relations with the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The Central Committee emphasized the important mission of the Armenian Catholic Church and its imperative role in the community–especially in addressing the problems encountered by the youth and the Armenian people–in general.
Father Minassian expressed the Catholic Churches condolences on the passing of ARF leader Hrair Maroukhian.
