BAKU (Armenpress)–After the latest events in South Caucasus, the European Parliament must display a more serious attitude toward resolving the “frozen” conflicts of the region, the co-chairman of EU-Azerbaijan intergovernmental cooperation committee, Mary An Ishler Began, told Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammedyarov during a meeting on Wednesday.
Drawing special attention to the Karabakh conflict, Mammedyarov noted that the conflicts in South Caucasus are an impediment to regional security, cooperation and development.
The Karabakh conflict, he said, must be regulated only within the frameworks of Azerbaijani territorial integrity.
