GLENDALE—Glendale Unified School District board member Nayiri Nahabedian will hold her first office hours for the 2009-2010 academic school year on Sunday, September 20 from noon to 3 pm. at Verdugo Park adjacent to the Armenian Independence Day Festival.
Nahabedian would like to invite community members to take advantage of the office hours with questions, comments and concerns about Glendale’s public education.
“It has been an important part of my role to hold these office hours and listen to the public about their experiences with Glendale schools and their concerns with the future of public education. I look forward to the upcoming school year and the opportunity to continue being an outlet that community members can feel comfortable in addressing,” explained Nahabedian.
Nayiri Nahabedian was elected as Glendale Unified School District Boardmember in 2007. She now holds the position of GUSD clerk and partakes in the decision-making processes of 31 Schools, over 2,620 employees, and 27,000 students from Kindergarten through the 12th grade.
